Rape Statistics - 1600 Words
Rape Statistics Working at a Historic Black College/University (HBCU) for the past three (3) years, I just recently came in contact with a rape victim. Iââ¬â¢ve seen the shows but never thought, I would be a person to come in contact with one. Talking to the different individuals involved with the student case, I decided to do my research paper on rap victim. C is the constant, or the y-intercept and e is the err or reflected in the residuals. This is a main effect model. In this case we are looking at the interaction effect on the dependent variable. In short, this is important because through this model, we can see how a second or third independent variable effects the relationship between the first independent variable and the dependent variable. For example, we may see that the relationship between income and likelihood of being the victim of a violent crime is moderated by education level attained by the victim. There can be many variables within the variables. The researchers obviously did not take an exact count of every crime in the United States. Rather, they sampled the population. In order to make sure the sample is true to the rest of the population, confidences must be set. These are the formulas for testing differences in percentages or rates of a single response variable with the same base. The formula calculates standard error of the difference between two percentages derived from a single response with theShow MoreRelatedRape : Taking Down Rape Culture1448 Words à |à 6 PagesTaking Down Rape Culture No matter where one goes there will always be rape that both men and women suffer from. Sometimes how the media and others portray rape make it seem like itââ¬â¢s not that big of a deal.
